News From the Greater Miami Jewish Federation

Ask anyone who attended Jewish sleepaway camp about their experience and they will undoubtedly share stories and memories of those unforgettable summers.

The Greater Miami Jewish Federation and its Jewish Community Relations Council laud the growing trend in 2020 of the State of Israel normalizing full diplomatic ties with Muslim-majority countries, most recently the Kingdom of Morocco as announced today by President Donald Trump and confirmed by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. This agreement, the fourth of its kind this year, is a sign of ongoing rapprochement in the region and broad recognition that harmonious ties with Israel, the lone democracy in the Middle East, will further stabilize the region and bring additional peace and prosperity for all parties involved.

As the U.S. elections have concluded, we realize the extent to which our nation is in desperate need of healing. The President-Elect has called for a time of healing and reckoning. This healing begins within our own communities.
