New Israel Engagement & Education Grants Strengthen Miami-Israel Connection

Miami loves Israel! Federation’s new Israel Engagement & Education Grants demonstrate we are Jewish Miami Proud by enabling nine local organizations to connect individuals of all ages in our community with our beloved Israel. The inaugural group of grants will fund innovative, interactive programming for everyone from preschoolers to teens to college students and beyond. The funded initiatives include a pro-Israel college campus campaign with peer-to-peer outreach strategies; virtual reality storytelling that brings Israel’s vibrant history to life and workshops for college students centered on Sephardic and Mizrahi voices. Some events will focus on the Jewish future, while a cultural series will bring Israeli performers to South Dade for a rich and authentic experience. Click here for a full list of funded projects.
