Israel at 70 Mission: Less Than Three Months Away!

In less than three months, more than 800 members of our community will travel to Israel for a transformative journey on Federation’s Israel at 70 Mission. Maybe you’ve been to Israel before. Perhaps you've even been on a Federation Mission. But April 16-22, you will have the opportunity to make memories with your friends and neighbors during a major milestone in Israel's history – its 70th anniversary!

Participants will commemorate Yom Ha’Zikaron (Memorial Day) and Yom Ha’Atzmaut (Independence Day) in our spiritual homeland. A moving ceremony at Yad Vashem will highlight Memorial Day, followed by a special dinner and program at The Israel Museum. A barbecue along the Netanya Boardwalk — the perfect spot to watch the IDF Air Show — our very own parade through the streets of Jerusalem and an incredible evening at the Sultan’s Pool will mark Independence Day. The itinerary also includes visits to some of the country’s most impressive landmarks, and the opportunity to hear from top leaders, including Israeli President Reuven Rivlin, Chairman of the Executive of The Jewish Agency for Israel, Natan Sharansky, and Mayors from Tel Aviv, Netanya and Jerusalem. (All itineraries are subject to change.) Accompanied by knowledgeable and inspiring rabbis, educators and guides, each tour will include valuable historic insights that will make the experience come alive, bringing even more meaning to each site.

It’s not too late to participate! For more information and to register, click here or contact Abby Mandel at [email protected] or 786.866.8436.

There are also still a few spaces available on the Pre-Mission to Poland, April 10-16, 2018.
