Israeli Government and JFNA Partner to Increase Jewish Education in the Diaspora
The Israeli government recently approved an historic $66 million national initiative to strengthen Jewish education in the Diaspora, with a particular emphasis on North America. Working closely with the Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA), the program will work to increase enrollment in Jewish day schools, strengthen students' religious and cultural identity and deepen their connection to Israel. The initiative will address barriers like tuition costs, geographic accessibility, support for students with learning disabilities and the development of new educational and digital learning frameworks. The effort is a strategic response to rising antisemitism and growing concerns over Jewish continuity.
