Federation-supported Campers2Gether Brings Israeli Teens to Summer Camp
This summer, more than 800 Israeli teens will receive much-needed respite through Campers2Gether, an initiative supported by the Greater Miami Jewish Federation. The program offers young Israelis impacted by October 7 and the ensuing hostilities a chance to connect with their Jewish peers in North America and Europe through meaningful summer camp experiences. Launched in 2024 for residents from Israel’s south, the program has since expanded to include other affected communities, including young adults from the north and reservist families. In addition to providing short-term relief, Campers2Gether fosters resilience by supporting relationships between Israeli teens and their Jewish counterparts abroad. Said Guy, a 2025 participant from Eshkol, “I made new friends, laughed nonstop and felt like I was exactly where I needed to be.”
