The Jewish Agency for Israel Tackles the Next Decade

jafi

The Jewish Agency for Israel, our overseas partner, recently announced the launch of its new strategic plan for the next decade. In an effort to address the most pressing challenges facing the global Jewish people, The Jewish Agency for Israel will work to ensure the safety of Jewish communities around the world, fight against rising anti-Semitism and anti-Zionism and encourage aliyah (the immigration of Jews from the diaspora to Israel) — assisting those arriving by choice while also conducting emergency aliyah operations. In order to implement the strategic plan, the organization is preparing to significantly increase the number of Israeli emissaries, or shlichim, serving on its behalf in Jewish communities around the world.
