Local JCCs: Not Just For Your Kids!

There is a lot to love at our local Jewish community centers! While the three Federation-supported JCCs — Alper, Miami Beach and Michael-Ann Russell — offer an incredible variety of children's, teen and family activities, they also touch the lives of older adults. In addition to serving as congregate meal sites, JCCs provide opportunities to pursue health and wellness goals. Shelley, a JCC member, said, “We’re at the JCC seven days a week, taking advantage of film nights, fitness classes and the gym…I feel healthy, energized and 100 percent better mentally and emotionally!
