Kloda Whitebook Kesher Academy Celebrates 30 Years

Mazal tov to Kloda Whitebook Kesher Academy on 30 years of excellence in special education! Led by Head of School Rabbi Ezra Levy, Kesher’s history and reputation for teaching children in 1st to 12th grade with learning disabilities is so impressive that families relocate all the way from Israel to enroll their children. The school is one of 12 Federation-funded day schools and is housed within Scheck Hillel Community School, offering students numerous social and academic inclusion opportunities. “Kesher enables children with mild to moderate learning disabilities to stay within our Jewish community,” said Federation Board Member Hedy Whitebook, a past Board Chair and longtime supporter of Kesher. “They receive the finest education, alongside their peers, siblings and friends. This is a program unique to Miami, made possible because of the amazing staff, loyal donors and the Greater Miami Jewish Federation.” Click here to watch a video showcasing Kesher’s critical work.
