Maccabi Games & ArtsFest Welcomes Yerucham Delegation

More than 1,200 participants from across Miami and around the world joined in the Maccabi Games & ArtsFest hosted by the Alper JCC Miami this week. Among them were 106 local Miami participants and a delegation of 12 athletes from Miami’s partnership city of Yerucham, Israel. The dozen Yerucham teens were part of the Israeli basketball and soccer teams. In addition to playing in the Games, they had the chance to make new friends and experience the diversity of Miami’s Jewish community while staying with local host families. The Greater Miami Jewish Federation proudly supports three Miami-Dade JCCs, the Miami-Yerucham Partnership and other community-building organizations and programs.
