Miami-Yerucham Partnership Shines as Israeli Teens Share Robotics Expertise With Miami Campers

Israeli teens from Federation’s partner city of Yerucham recently traveled to Miami for nearly two weeks to mentor local kids and young adults in robotics and other STEM skills, all while strengthening their connection to Israel. During their visit, the group led hands-on workshops in robotics, 3D printing and drone technology with hundreds of local campers at all three Federation-funded Miami JCCs. They also explored the new Education Center at the Holocaust Memorial Miami Beach and spent meaningful time bonding with their Miami host families. “Working with children and seeing them excited until the very last minute was deeply fulfilling,” shared one Yerucham delegate. “We gave them technology, but they gave us so much warmth in return.”
