Mishkan Miami Provides Spiritual Outreach to Community

If you are going through a difficult time, Federation’s Mishkan Miami: The Jewish Connection for Spiritual Support ensures you are never alone. In addition to bereavement groups, Mishkan Miami’s caring corps of Jewish chaplains, rabbis and volunteers works year-round with doctors, nurses and patients at a variety of local facilities providing holistic spiritual, mental and physical care to those who are lonely or ill. Through Mishkan’s Refuat Ha-Nefesh program, volunteers complete extensive training on how to provide compassionate and spiritual support to those in need.
