Miami Remembers October 7 With Events Throughout Our Community

It has been nearly two years since Hamas unleashed its barbaric October 7 terrorist attacks on Israel murdering more than 1,200 innocent men, women and children, taking 251 people hostage, of which 48 still remain in captivity. The ensuing alarming rise in antisemitism and anti-Israel rhetoric has spread worldwide. Throughout October, the Greater Miami Jewish Federation invites people of all faiths and backgrounds to come together to mourn those who lost their lives on 10/7 and embrace their families, pray for the remaining hostages, pay tribute to the heroes who fought to defend Israel and reaffirm our community’s strength and commitment to our spiritual homeland. Click here for details about educational and commemorative events taking place at local synagogues, Jewish community centers and other organizations throughout Miami.
