Pardes Channa-Karkur Art Installation Unites Community

In a continued effort to create socialization between different groups in Pardes Channa-Karkur (PCK), Israel, Federation recently helped residents complete a community art project. The sculptural installation, located in the center of town, honors the city’s diverse population. Community members participated in every step of the project, from the early brainstorming sessions to decorating various poles — each one representing a different culture — and painting stones to accompany the project. For more than a decade, Federation has been involved in a partnership with the community of PCK through the Ethiopian-Israeli Initiative.
