Thanks to your generous donations to Federation’s Annual Campaign, our historic overseas partners, the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC) and The Jewish Agency for Israel, can help ensure that thousands of Jews in the former Soviet Union and Israel have a truly meaningful Pesach. JDC is providing its clients with Passover goods and an array of festive and engaging activities including a traditional Seder, an art exhibition on the Haggadah, a pre-Passover shabbaton for youth, a culinary competition, a “Find the Afikoman” quest for children, and much more. The Jewish Agency is hosting matzah baking classes and model Seders at absorption centers throughout Israel, and children’s educational workshops about Passover.
