Help a Meaningful Project Supported by Federation’s Jewish Incubator Grant

Purchase delicious challah while helping a meaningful project supported by Federation’s Jewish Incubator Grant! Friendship Bakery, a program of Friendship Circle Miami Beach & North Dade, equips special needs individuals with valuable employment skills by challenging them to take on the responsibilities of creating and selling kosher baked goods. Most importantly, it builds independence and self-esteem, giving participants a sense of purpose and ownership for their work. Now in its fourth year, a total of $50,000 to 12 local organizations, which support creative, new social-service, educational and identity-building programs, which respond to issues identified by the 2014 Federation Population Study.
