Promoting Inclusion and Independence for Israelis With Disabilities

Federation’s Israel & Overseas Committee recently approved $150,000 in new grants to six Israeli nonprofits that support inclusion and greater independence for people with disabilities in a variety of settings. Working with our Israeli partners, Federation is providing therapy, home visits, parent guidance, advocacy and support for those raising children with multiple disabilities and complex medical needs. Your donations are also helping young adults with intellectual disabilities serve in the IDF alongside their peers while developing vocational, social and life skills and providing emergency check-ins, accessible transportation, equipment and emotional support to help young adults maintain employment and independent living during ongoing security threats. To support programs like these and others, donate to Federation’s Annual Campaign by clicking here.
