First Annual Miami Jewish Day School Robotics Festival

The First Annual Miami Jewish Day School Robotics Festival will take place on Wednesday, April 26, at Scheck Hillel Community School. Funded by Federation’s Miami-Yerucham Partnership, the event is the culmination of the Miami Jewish Day School Robotics Initiative, spearheaded by Federation’s subsidiary agency, the Center for the Advancement of Jewish Education (CAJE) and the Yerucham Science Center (YSC).

Last fall, teachers from Scheck Hillel Community Day School, Lehrman Community Day School and Hebrew Academy (RASG) learned from visiting YSC staff how to integrate robotics into their curriculum (read about that here). The April festival offers students and teachers from the same three schools the opportunity to demonstrate their newly acquired robotics knowledge in a fun and competitive environment.
