Saul Schottenstein Foundation Helps Individuals Facing Food Insecurity

Clients of Jewish Community Services Kosher Food Bank received some extra help ahead of Passover, thanks to the ongoing generosity of the Saul Schottenstein Foundation. Prior to Pesach, individuals and families facing food insecurity in Jewish Miami were given grocery gift cards along with their regular food packages. This thoughtful contribution allows each person to add something special to their table — whether that means ingredients for a traditional family dish, a bouquet of flowers or a favorite activity for the children. The grocery gift cards are also distributed in advance of July 4th, Rosh Hashanah and Chanukah and act as a reminder that the Jewish community is always there to help. Federation is grateful to the Saul Schottenstein Foundation for this meaningful act of tzedakah.
