Securing Our Jewish Community – Today and Always

As antisemitism and attacks on Jewish people and institutions continue, the Greater Miami Jewish Federation is increasing its investment in securing Jewish Miami. A key component of this effort is the Regional Threat Center (RTC), a partnership among Federation, the Secure Community Network (SCN) and South Florida Federations. The RTC identifies, researches and assesses individuals in South Florida who may pose credible threats to the Jewish community. By combining intelligence analysis with regional coordination, the RTC enables proactive security measures to help safeguard Jewish Miami. Additionally, Federation's Office of Community Security (OCS) offers infrastructure assessment, active threat and situational awareness trainings for local schools, synagogues and JCCs to help protect the community at large.
