Share the Joy of Chanukah in Miami-Dade Classrooms

PJ Library and Federation’s Jewish Volunteer Center are seeking parents and grandparents to share the magic of Chanukah with students in public and private secular schools from Tuesday, December 1 to Friday, December 11. Activities include story time, lighting the menorah, playing dreidel with Chanukah gelt (chocolate “coins”) and eating sufganiyot (jelly donuts). Participants should plan to attend a virtual training on Tuesday, November 24. Click here for more information and to register by Friday, November 20. PJ Library, a Federation program funded by the Harold Grinspoon Foundation and the Blank Family Foundation, provides free Jewish books to thousands of children throughout Miami-Dade County to promote a love of reading while exploring Jewish values and traditions.
