Volunteers to Bring Comfort, Spiritual Solace and Joy to People in Need

Federation’s Mishkan Miami: The Jewish Connection for Spiritual Support and Jewish Volunteer Center are seeking participants for the Refuat Ha-Nefesh Spiritual Care Program. For more than 10 years, this life-changing program has offered volunteers the opportunity to bring comfort, spiritual solace and joy to people in need. Through bimonthly training sessions, fellows learn the mitzvot of bikur cholim (visiting the sick) and gemilut chasadim (acts of loving kindness) led by rabbis, doctors and social workers. Applications are due Friday, October 12. Click here for more information.
