A Summer of Service for Jewish Young Adults

For Jewish young adults and college students, ages 18-29, the coronavirus pandemic is a moment to make a difference for those affected by COVID-19. The Greater Miami Jewish Federation Jewish Volunteer Center is launching Serve the Moment, a four-week summer fellowship of service from July 8-August 7. Developed as part of the Jewish Service Alliance and in partnership with Repair the World, participants will volunteer in person and virtually with trusted community partners while also learning and reflecting with their peers. Projects include food delivery, online tutoring for children from unemployed or underemployed families who are struggling due to school closings, calls to isolated seniors and campaigns for racial justice. Corps members earn a stipend to volunteer. Applicants should be local and will need to select Miami as their community of choice when applying. For more information and to apply, click here.
