Supporting Israeli High Schoolers Through Routine and Resilience

As Israel’s conflict with Hezbollah continues, many teenagers living in northern Israel have experienced significant schooling disruptions. Federation and our partners on the ground are responding by launching a new matriculation and resilience program for students living within a mile of the border. The initiative targets approximately 1,500 11th- and 12th-grade students across nine municipalities and combines respite retreats, intensive preparation for matriculation exams and resilience-building activities. The program also offers full scholarships to pre-army academies, enabling eligible students to participate in leadership and personal development programs without financial barriers.
