Supporting the Mental Health of Israeli Youth

Through your generosity, Federation is caring for 20,000 Israeli youth suffering from the invisible wounds of trauma from the October 7 attacks. Enosh, one of Israel’s leading mental health organizations, is establishing a network of six Trauma and Crisis Intervention Centers for young adults to make quality emotional therapy accessible to anyone who needs it. The latest, Krayot Headspace Center, which recently opened in Kiryat Bialik, attends to northern Israel residents who are facing complex psychological challenges as they return home following a prolonged evacuation. In addition to allocations through the national Israel Emergency Fund, our Federation allotted $100,000 to fund six sessions of comprehensive mental distress/trauma response for 3,200 adolescents and young adult patients, ages 10-25.
