Federation Funds Surf Therapy for Partner Kibbutznik

With the help of Federation funding, Kibbutz Or HaNer recently launched three new surf therapy groups supporting women from families of reservists, men ages 35-55 and adults 55 and over. Following a community needs assessment, the program was integrated into a broader initiative focused on resilience, bonding and mutual support — and it’s already creating something truly meaningful. The unique surf therapy course is one of the many ways our Federation is helping Or HaNer residents heal from the economic and physical losses associated with the October 7 terrorist attacks through the Communities2Gether (C2G) program. Over three years, Federation will allocate a total of $750,000 from our Israel Emergency Fund to further support the kibbutz and its residents. Click here to read more about our C2G partnership.
