Federation Continues to Help Victims of Surfside Building Collapse

With the collapse of Champlain Towers South, those who were employed by the condo are experiencing a sudden loss of income and the Greater Miami Jewish Federation is helping them get back on their feet. These individuals are now in financial need until they can secure a new job. In addition to helping several employees through this difficult time, Federation has distributed nearly $440,000 to 141 individuals and their families. The generosity of more than 8,000 donors to Federation's Emergency Fund for the Surfside Building Collapse enables need-based and immediate help through direct deposit and gift cards so those who have lost everything can purchase necessities such as clothes, cell phone and personal essentials with dignity. If you have not yet made a donation to the Emergency Fund and would like to do so, please click here.
