Program Promotes Teen Involvement

With the goal of keeping teens involved in the Jewish community beyond the Bar and Bat Mitzvah years, the Center for the Advancement of Jewish Education (CAJE), a Federation subsidiary agency, is accepting grant applications for the Miami ARC Teen Initiative. The grants, of up to $6,000, will support Youth Serving Organizations (YSO) that develop programs that are Active, Relevant and Connective for teens and promote education and engagement. YSOs can click hereto apply. Applications are due September 13, 2019. The Miami ARC Teen Initiative is a result of the Post B’nai Mitzvah Task Force, funded by Federation, which examined ways to address the drop off in teen involvement in Jewish life.
