Toy Drive Benefits JCS Kosher Food Bank Families

Toys collected at Federation’s Community-Wide Toy Drive during November’s Maccabi Games are brightening the holiday for many children this week. As families arrive at the Jewish Community Center’s (JCS) Kosher Food Bank, a Federation partner agency, to complete their holiday shopping, they will also be able to bring a Chanukah gift home for their child. The toy drive was truly a community affair, with the Women’s International Zionist Organization (WIZO) Bat Mitzvah Club wrapping the gifts and the teens of the Hillel Chessed Club for helping transport all the toys to the Kosher Food Bank and organize them by type.
