Federation Donations at Work in Guatemala

Following the devastating eruption of Guatemala’s Fuego Volcano, the Greater Miami Jewish Federation set up an emergency relief fund. Working with our overseas partner, the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee, Federation is helping Guatemala’s Jewish and general communities distribute critically needed items to those in the hardest-hit areas and plan for the rebuilding of schools and clinics. Additionally, Cadena, an international nonprofit, continues to distribute basic necessities such as blankets, medicine, first aid kits and water purification tablets.
