Federation Makes Israeli Women a Priority

The Women’s Amutot Initiative continues to champion women and girls around the world! In fact, our Federation was not just the first, but remains the only, Federation to fund programs for women and girls as an ongoing part of the Annual Campaign. This strategic program uses a gender lens to allocate funds to a select group of Israeli nonprofits that help protect women against violence, foster female leadership development and encourage social and economic empowerment. Since the Initiative's inception in 2003, Miami's Federation has contributed nearly $4 million in direct allocations to programs that help marginalized women and improve Israeli society.
