Center for Women’s Justice Is Life-Changing for Israeli Women

Since 2003, the Women’s Amutot Initiative has allocated funds from the Annual Federation/UJA campaign to organizations in Israel that help improve the lives of Israeli women. This year, the program awarded the Center for Women’s Justice in Jerusalem more than $20,000 to promote social justice for women. The Center assists women in obtaining legal divorces (gets) and offers pre-nuptial counseling, legal education for attorneys and public outreach. Its efforts foster basic human rights, equality and dignity for Israeli women.
