Women’s Philanthropy Welcomes Chef Yaniv Cohen for The Women’s Event

For a taste of community and cuisine, join Federation Women’s Philanthropy at this year's The Women’s Event, featuring chef and restaurateur Yaniv Cohen, also known as The Spice Detective. Chaired by Dr. Margo Brilliant, the event on Thursday, March 20 will lead participants on an interactive culinary journey. Cohen, author of the cookbook My Spiced Kitchen, credits his passion for food to growing up in a Sephardic Jewish family with North African and Middle Eastern roots. Attendees will learn about using spices in cooking, enjoy a tasting session and create a unique spice blend to take home. In addition, guests will participate in a mitzvah (good deed) project addressing food insecurity for children. The couvert is $72 and there is a $500 suggested minimum donation to the Annual Federation Campaign. Click here to learn more and to RSVP.
