HaZamir Brings Together Students From Miami and Yerucham

This week, Jewish teens from Miami and Yerucham’s chapters of HaZamir — the International Jewish Teen Choir — are strengthening their bond as they perform together at local schools, synagogues and JCCs. They also made a special stop at Federation’s Board Meeting, before heading to New York City, where they will join 400 HaZamir international participants for a spectacular gala concert at Lincoln Center to close the season. Participants in HaZamir receive an important foundation of Jewish values in a communal environment and gain a deeper understanding of Judaic traditions and artistic expression. Programs such as these continue to strengthen the Miami-Yerucham Partnership and allow both communities to build deeper relationships with each other.
