Yerucham Delegation Visits Jewish Miami

Last week, Federation welcomed a delegation from the award-winning Yerucham Science Center who came to share fun with science and technology at the three Miami-Dade JCCs. The four teens and two adult instructors led two week-long science camps through the Miami-Yerucham Partnership. The first week’s programming was at Camp Sol Taplin at the Michael-Ann Russell JCC and at Camp Klurman at the Miami Beach JCC and the past week at Camp J at the Alper JCC Miami. Our Israeli guests also got to experience Jewish Miami at the Holocaust Memorial Miami Beach, a Diller Teen Mifgash, Shabbat services at Temple Moses and meals with Federation Board Members Stanley Weinstein and Josh Kligler. “Sharing stories, laughter and traditions around the table reminded us how meaningful these connections can be,” noted Kligler, reinforcing, “No matter where we come from, we're part of one connected Jewish family.”
