Young Lion of Judah Program Offers Volunteer Opportunities

YLOJ

Do you know a Bar or Bat Mitzvah student looking for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to engage with Holocaust Survivors or volunteer at local Jewish organizations? Federation’s Jewish Volunteer Center (JVC) and the Holocaust Memorial Miami Beach are now accepting applications for a virtual edition of the Young Lion of Judah Program. Beginning on Sunday, October 25, teens becoming a Bar or Bat Mitzvah before August 2021 will partner with a Holocaust Survivor to build a priceless relationship, attend programs on Holocaust education or serve their community through volunteering. For an application or more information on how to become a Young Lion of Judah, please contact JVC Director Lori Tabachnikoff at [email protected] or 786.866.8680.
