Congratulations on making the decision for your child to participate in a Jewish overnight camp experience. The Greater Miami Jewish Federation looks forward to helping you achieve this goal.
Our need-based program, provided by Federation from funds raised through the Annual Greater Miami Jewish Federation/UJA Campaign, is open to Jewish children ages 8 to 17 who are Miami-Dade County residents. Scholarships are available only for those overnight Jewish summer camp programs located in the United States and listed on the Foundation for Jewish Camp website. Financial assistance is limited to one session only.
All applications are held in strict confidence and are reviewed anonymously. Preference will be given to those families whose children are attending overnight camp for the first time. Also, in keeping with our primary goal of helping those with the greatest need, Federation awards scholarships strictly on a case-by-case basis.
IMPORTANT: In addition to your completed application, a copy of your latest income tax return and a camp acceptance letter are required for your application to be considered. You will be asked to upload these documents at the end of this application.
To be considered for a camp scholarship, your completed application must be received no later than Friday, January 31, 2014.
The award decision process takes approximately 8 to 10 weeks to complete, and award recipients are notified via email. If you have any questions, please contact Flora Akselrad at 786.866.8498 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Instructions • Complete a separate application for each child • Fields with a red * are required. • Once completed, click SUBMIT APPLICATION. • At the end of the application, you will receive a confirmation email.
