Voices of Jewish Refugees from Arab Lands: Yom Haplitim

Yom Haplitim commemorates the expulsion of one million Jews from Arab lands and celebrates their heritage after the founding of the State of Israel.

American Jewish Committee (AJC), Sephardi Voices and Greater Miami Jewish Federation commemorate Yom Haplitim, Jewish Refugee Day, with a multimedia program featuring survivor testimonials, video feature presentations, a photo exhibit and the following participants:

• Dr. Henry Green, Professor, University of Miami, and Director, Sephardi Voices

• Brian D. Siegal, Director, American Jewish Committee (AJC) Miami and Broward

• Rabbi Efrat Zarren-Zohar, Executive Director, Center for the Advancement of Jewish Education
