Posted by Sam Intrator on 01/16/2018 @ 06:23 PM
On Tuesday Jan, 30, 2018 (Tubisvat) Jewish singles can discover "how to date their soul mate" during a lavish soiree in South Beach at the renowned Temple House, one of the most iconic properties in the U.S.
This exciting & unique evening will feature a live Jazz band, a gourmet dinner cocktail hour and a brief panel presentation followed by interactive breakout discussion groups; empowering singles to share their common experiences and proactive solutions.
The program will begin at 6:30 with a cocktail dinner hour followed by the discussion period and will end with a decadent dessert hour. Since the evening coincides with the Jewish ecological new year of nature, Tubishvat, the dessert hour will also include exotic Israeli fruits and a brief explanation of the ethical and practical lessons eating these fruits teach us.
The host for this heartwarming evening, Rabbi Sam Intrator from Kavanah Life in Miami Beach, stated "in a time when speed dating and posting profiles on dating sites don't provide a substantive environment for forging long-lasting relationships, we divised a novel concept to invite like minded singles to social forums enabling for more indepth interaction.
The Temple House is located at 1415 Euclid Ave in Soth Beach. The $36 cover fee will soon be increased for late registration to $54. Visit our website Kavanahlifesingles.com and register immediately.

I need help
Posted by William will on 01/15/2018 @ 01:52 PM
Shalom! I'm married with a young child. Recently, I was forced to close a business partnership and now I'm desperate need of money to cover every day expenses. I'm exhausted nearly every resource available and I'm running out of options. I'm not asking for donation, I'm asking for work. I can do anything: drive, cook (I went to culinary school), .... whatever! Please, if you have anything that most to be done kindly let me know. My email is: [email protected]
Thanks!

Descendants Re-Signing Israel’s Declaration of Independence
Posted by Liat Stilman on 01/15/2018 @ 12:24 PM
Sunday, January 14, 2018, at the Knesset, dozens of grandchildren and great-grandchildren of the original signers of Israel’s Declaration of Independence (Megilat Ha-Atzmaut) gathered to photograph a reconstruction of that historic event.
The signing kicks off preparations for the first Israeli Congress on Judaism and Democracy, to take place on February in association with the Center for Jewish and Democratic Law at Bar-Ilan University.
Congress Founder and Chairman Mr. Haim Tiab: “The Declaration of Independence serves as a shining example of the crucial balance between Judaism and democracy, emphasizing the dual role of Israel in offering a home to Jews from around the world, while also retaining a democratically-elected government and full equality of social and political rights to all its citizens”. Participants at the Knesset event signed and read key passages from the Declaration of Independence, underscoring their significance for the modern era.
