Greater Miami Jewish Federation
Federation works with our local and overseas partners to establish and sustain
initiatives that create a sense of community among Jewish people of all ages, backgrounds and interests.
Your participation in the Annual Campaign helps to support education,
engagement and advocacy efforts for Israel and issues of Jewish concern.
You provide spiritual care and companionship for the sick and frail, and connect thousands of volunteers with programs that benefit from their time
and talents. And you create opportunities for isolated communities across the globe to revitalize Jewish life and bring groups of Jewish people together.
- Nearly 2,800 unaffiliated Jews with free tickets to worship services at Miami-area synagogues through Federation’s High Holiday Welcome Program, the largest project of its kind in the country
- About 9,200 hours of hands-on help to community organizations from 2,300 volunteers through the Jewish Volunteer Center -- equaling almost $200,000
in paid time
- Two young schlichim (emissaries) from Israel to Miami to create programming that builds bridges and promotes greater understanding of Israel and its people
