JCRC Advocates For Israel With Elected Officials

As the public affairs arm of Federation, the Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC) focuses on advocacy, education and outreach on issues important to our Jewish brothers and sisters. When Israel is in crisis, our bipartisan relationships and engagement with elected officials become ever more critical. We are grateful for their support in condemning the continuing attack on Israel by terrorist organizations.

Key Points:

  • Hamas and Islamic Jihad have fired thousands of rockets at Israel, targeting population centers with the goal of injuring or killing as many Israelis as possible.
  • These attacks, in addition to killing several people, have halted everyday life for millions of Israelis and traumatized hundreds of thousands.
  • The United States government and international community must do all they can to stop these attacks immediately.
  • Israel has the right to defend itself from these attacks.
  • Our leaders must reiterate that there is no justification for terrorism or attacks on innocent civilians.
  • They must continue to condemn these attacks on Israel in the strongest terms and express their support for its right to defend its citizens.

Please contact these representatives to thank them for their explicit support of Israel.
