Don’t Miss The Main Event! A Night to Celebrate Community and Stand Together, Featuring President Shimon Peres

The Greater Miami Jewish Federation is honored to welcome one of Israel’s founding fathers, President Shimon Peres, at its largest yearly community gathering, The Main Event. Join us on Monday, February 16 at 5:00 p.m. at the Hilton Miami Downtown, 1601 Biscayne Boulevard, for this rare opportunity to hear from one of Israel’s longest serving and most distinguished politicians. This year, The Main Event is being chaired by Tammy and Jorge Woldenberg.

President Shimon Peres is an Israeli statesman, Jewish leader and Nobel Peace Prize Laureate whose public service career has spanned 70 years. Peres is the first Israeli leader to have served as both Prime Minister and President of the Jewish State. Be part of the Miami Jewish community’s tribute to this extraordinary man.

Attracting more than 1,200 guests each year, The Main Event raises funds for the Annual Federation/UJA Campaign to help Jewish people in need in Miami, in Israel and in more than 70 other countries around the world.

Couvert for The Main Event is $125 per person; $72 per person for those age 30 and under (not tax-deductible as a charitable contribution). Valet and self-parking will be available.

This event is intended for donors of $1,000 or more to the 2015 Federation/UJA Campaign. Members of the community age 30 and under are invited to attend with a required minimum gift of $500 to the 2015 Federation/UJA Campaign.

Online reservations for The Main Event have now closed. For more information, email [email protected] or call 786.866.8438.
