Call for 2014 Judicial Reception Award Nominations

The Attorneys’ Division of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation is now accepting nominations for three outstanding legal professionals to be honored at the 30th Anniversary Judicial Reception on April 3, 2014. This year's event, co-chaired by Scott L. Baena and Edith Osman, will attract hundreds of South Florida’s most prominent attorneys and judges to celebrate the accomplishments of their peers with these three prestigious awards:

Lifetime Achievement Award, given to a judge whose career exemplifies long-term commitment to excellence in law and dedication to public service in the South Florida community.

Community Service Award, given to a judge whose commitment to social justice and helping others has made a significant impact throughout South Florida.

Honorable Theodore “Ted” Klein Special Recognition Award, given to either a judge or an attorney whose commitment to advocacy and peer mentoring has made a profound impact on legal community colleagues. This award honors the late Ted Klein, who always believed in setting a meaningful example inside and outside the courtroom.
