Assisting Venezuela Following the Recent Earthquakes

In the aftermath of the devastating earthquakes that struck north-central Venezuela on June 24, the Greater Miami Jewish Federation and our partners are working tirelessly to bring aid to all those impacted. Through your support of Federation’s Venezuela Earthquakes Emergency Relief Fund, humanitarian experts mobilized quickly to assist the local community with critical shelter, food, medical care and more for affected individuals and families. Federation is providing safe drinking water, sanitation and hygiene systems; mental health and psychosocial care for residents of all ages dealing with anxiety and stress; support for frontline workers and more. There was even a 150-person Shabbat dinner at the Sephardi community center and a day camp that is welcomed more than 140 children for recreation and respite during these challenging times.
