Federation Joins With Local and National Partners to Launch Regional Threat Center

Amidst surging antisemitism and threats to the Jewish community, Federation has partnered with Secure Community Network (SCN) to create a state-of-the-art Regional Threat Center (RTC) in Miami. This is one of 11 RTCs being launched nationally, with the Miami-based center being one of the first and coordinated by three South Florida Jewish federations and Jewish Federations of North America. Breaking the silos that prevent open communication and collaboration, the RTCs will utilize human expertise and AI technology to monitor threats, analyze and share data, support incident response and coordinate directly with security and law enforcement professionals. This fully integrated “virtual shield” will identify and mitigate threats to the Jewish community in real time — before they manifest into action.
