May Is Mental Health Awareness Month

Federation’s BeWell Miami is bringing attention to special events throughout May during Mental Health Awareness Month (MHAM). In addition to the resources and programming it makes available year-round, BeWell is sharing in-person get togethers such as the Fit Shop X WAO (We Are One) transformative experience on May 18 for high-school students with boxing, yoga, meditation and more. The monthly BeWell webinar on May 13, Executive Function Strategies, will focus on managing ADHD, and will be offered to Jewish Miami free of charge, along with other webinars in honor of MHAM. And on June 1, the events will continue with a South Florida Mental Wellness and Physical Health event featuring activities and speakers. For a listing of all MHAM events, follow BeWell on social media at @bewellmiami. You can also access the list of events here.
