Ministering to the Elderly Explores How to Grow Through the Aging Process

Register now for the 25th Annual Ministering to the Elderly Conference on Monday, June 7 at 9 a.m.-12:45 p.m. The aging process presents both unique challenges and meaningful opportunities. Learn how to embrace this important time at the virtual event, The Tapestry of Aging: Weaving Threads of Life, will feature Rabbi Laura Geller co-author of the book Getting Good at Getting Older and NYU Professors David M. Elcott, Ph.D. and Stuart Himmelfarb, who will explore how to help older adults develop new paths for personal fulfillment. The $36 registration includes Rabbi Geller’s book. Continuing education credits are available for mental health care professionals, guardians and nursing home administrators. The Conference is sponsored by Federation’s Mishkan Miami and its partner agencies Jewish Community Services of South Florida and Miami Jewish Health. Click here to register.
