Join Us for the 24th Annual Ministering to the Elderly Conference

Is there such a thing as a good death and how can we help those in our care achieve this goal? Join the 24th Annual Ministering to the Elderly Conference, sponsored by Federation’s Mishkan Miami, and its partner agencies, Jewish Community Services of South Florida (JCS) and Miami Jewish Health, to ponder the answers to these questions and more. Dr. Jessica N. Zitter, a noted physician, palliative care expert and medical ethicist, will lead conference participants in thoughtful discussion. The program is open to the public and will also discuss ethical frameworks for decision-making, how to formulate culturally appropriate, patient-centered care plans and much more. Click here for more information or contact Rabbi Frederick Klein at [email protected] or 786.866.8620. CE credits available.
