Mishkan Miami Offers Online Resources for the Bereaved

Losing a beloved family member or friend can be one of life’s greatest challenges, which is why Federation’s Mishkan Miami offers valuable resources online to help mourners throughout the grieving process. As a service to our Jewish community, Mishkan Miami has compiled a list of support groups, pastoral care and grief counseling for those seeking comfort in individual or group settings. The Bereavement Resources page on JewishMiami.org has helpful readings, including a collection of healing guides that reflect on the four different “seasons” of grieving, and a directory of local synagogues and clergy that mourners can turn to for spiritual support. Those who wish to say Kaddish from home can also access a virtual minyan online six days a week. For further assistance, please contact Rabbi Frederick Klein, Director of Mishkan Miami, at [email protected] or 786.866.8620.
