NBA Draft Pick Has Ties to Jewish Miami

Mazal tov to Danny Wolf and his family, who recently made history as one of two Jewish and Israeli players drafted by the Brooklyn Nets in the same round, just moments apart. A standout basketball player at the University of Michigan, Danny also proudly represented Israel on the U18 Men’s Basketball Team in 2022. Danny’s parents, Tina and Joe Wolf, are active leaders in Jewish Miami. Tina frequently participates in Federation’s Women’s Philanthropy and the couple’s recent generous donation to the Miami Beach JCC will help fund facility and program upgrades to the Bergman Family Athletics Department. In recognition, the north scoreboard in the Schottenstein Family Gymnasium will bear the Wolf Family name. We are all #JewishMiamiProud and are looking forward to seeing what the future holds for Danny Wolf and Ben Saraf when the Brooklyn Nets hit the court.
