Community Will Gather to Celebrate 'Shabbat Across Miami' February 24-25

Shabbat is traditionally a time of peace, contemplation and togetherness. On Friday and Saturday, February 24 and 25, hundreds of Jewish people will share this holiday together during Shabbat Across Miami, taking place at venues across Miami-Dade County. This annual Shabbat celebration, which attracts worshippers of all ages and denominations, is a joint project of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation, community synagogues, and day schools.

Services will be held Friday evening and Saturday morning at numerous synagogues, and at one of our day schools on Friday morning. During the programs, each organization will join with Federation to raise awareness about the many social-service, humanitarian and educational programs funded by the Annual Federation/UJA Campaign in Miami, in Israel and in more than 70 other countries around the world.

There is no cost to attend Shabbat Across Miami, and no reservations are needed. There will be no solicitation of funds for Federation at any of the events.
